For more than two decades Daniel Brown has been the man with the inside stuff in the Bay Area for The Athletic and the San Jose Mercury News, and has authored books on both the Giants and 49ers. The Athletic is his primary place of biz, and even during the pandemic he’s doing essential work – cranking out great sports stories in mid-season form.
