Seniors loom large for OSU Cowboys versus the Missouri Tigers in 2014 Cotton Bowl

2014 Cotton Bowl-Head Coaches Press Conference, Thursday, January 2, 2014, Omni Mandalay Hotel, Irving, TXTwo big play defenses with potentially high-powered offenses from the nation’s premier top-to-bottom football conferences (make your arguments on another day, ACC, PAC-12  and Big 10 fans; the previous statement was a tongue-in-cheek reference to OU’s Bob Stoops’ pre-season comments.) meet in the 2014 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, and I am feeling less and less sure that OSU is a clear favorite for the upset.  I don’t like to play the odds, so let’s just say I truly believe the Cowboys’ senior class, filled with underdogs (Clint Chelf, anyone?) and few top NFL draft hopefuls, has the most to play for. They can go out as the winningest senior class in OSU history.

Here are a few thoughts from the late week pressers (I left the coaches out. Not sure they really said anything any way.) Listen to KOSU-FM and KOSU.org for more tomorrow (Friday) and Monday morning when all the some has cleared.
