Thunder holds off Orlando Magic – extends OKC record to 12 straight at home to start NBA season

Tune in to KOSU FM this morning starting at 6 am for Nikole Robinson’s Oklahoma news, including my wrap from the game as well as sound from the Thunder locker room. Here’s my wrap – and some of that post-game sound from the Thunder locker room – in case you can’t catch the radio broadcasts Tuesday morning.

As for the NBA season, It’s a magical start for the Thunder… who win even when losing harsh lessons, like they did Sunday night in a 101-98 win over Orlando. The game shouldn’t have been that close, as Orlando is not only woeful but was trailing by double digits in the 4th before fighting back. Expect Scott Brooks and this defensive minded bunch to have a pretty solid practice before heading to Denver for a Tuesday night game, always a tough place to play.
