Oklahoma City, Okla. – Omaha Storm Chasers (58-49) pitchers dealt 10 walks but allowed only three Oklahoma City RedHawks (48-60) hits, as the Storm Chasers held on for a 5-4 win before 7,793 Saturday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown.

Omaha reliever Zach Miner (1-0) took the winning decision, dealing two and two-thirds shutout frames with one hit, two walks and two strikeouts. RedHawks reliever Douglas Arguello (3-6) gave up one unearned run and one hit over two innings for a losing decision. Jesse Chavez (13) saved the game with two perfect relief innings.

Omaha opened the scoring with two unearned runs in the first inning against RedHawks starter Sergio Perez. Jarrod Dyson singled, stole second base, moved to third on an errant pickoff throw and scored on a wild throw by the catcher for a 1-0 score. David Lough walked, stole second and later scored on a Clint Robinson groundout for a 2-0 score.

The Storm Chasers extended the lead to 4-0 with a two-run third. With two out, Omaha collected four straight singles, the last two from Robinson and Kila Ka’aihue for RBI to extend the advantage.

The RedHawks tied the game with a four-run fourth inning. Luis Durango singled in a run for a 4-1 score. Brian Bogusevic next doubled to centerfield, clearing the bases for 3 RBI, while tying the score 4-4.

Omaha regained the lead for good in the seventh inning when Joaquin Arias walked, moved to second on a walk and scored on a Lough bunt and throwing error by Arguello for a 5-4 game.
